VINEYARDS AND HERITAGE

Between the vineyard and ancestral heritage
2 to 3 tastings of 10 to 20 wines, including 1ers Crus and Grands Crus wines
Day 1: The Vineyard Essentials
2 to 3 tastings – 10 to 20 wines, including Premiers Crus and Grands Crus

Departing from your hotel at 9:30 am (or from the train station).

Discover the most prestigious winegrowing villages in the north of Côte de Beaune. Stop at the Hill of Corton, a unique place in Burgundy for its red and white Grands Crus—a must-visit during your oenology trip to Burgundy.

A prestigious tasting at the Estate in Côte de Beaune: the elegance of Pinots Noirs and unoaked white wines.

OPTION 1 – Lunch/tasting at a family estate. You will choose the vintages from among the owner’s wines to pair with typical Burgundian dishes and cheeses.

OPTION 2 – Lunch at the table of a vineyard restaurant. Exquisite, traditional cuisine in an idyllic setting.

Destination: the “Champs-Elysées” of Burgundy on the Route des Grands Crus of Côte de Nuits: Vosne-Romanée, Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny, etc. A stop at Romanée Conti and Clos de Vougeot, two estates intimately linked to oenology in Burgundy.

A post-meal walk through the vineyards to discover the cultivation techniques and the history of wine in Burgundy.

A private tasting in a traditional cellar, in a paradise for Pinot Noir lovers. During this oenology trip, discover the most beautiful expressions of this grape variety in connection with its terroir. Meet with a winemaker.

After this busy day, we will drive you back to your hotel around 5:30 pm.

Dinner and overnight stay in Burgundy. Our suggestions for restaurants and accommodations.

Departing around 9:30 am – returning around 5:30 pm – 90 km

Day 2: Country Roads and Medieval Heritage

No tastings.

Departing from your hotel at 9:30 am.

Escape through the hilly landscapes of the Auxois on small back roads.

Stroll along the Burgundy Canal (built in the 18th century) and enjoy postcard-worthy landscapes along the water.
Stop at Semur-en-Auxois, a medieval town that has remained intact throughout the ages.

Lunch at the table of a traditional restaurant. Local cuisine and local cheeses on the menu.
A trip to Alesia, the site of Julius Caesar’s victory over the Gauls led by Vercingetorix in 52 BC.

Two options to choose from:
Option 1: A walk in the village of Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, classified as one of the “most beautiful villages in France.” A gourmet detour to the famous “Anise of Flavigny” factory (depending on opening). A visit to the Abbey of Fontenay (built in the 12th century), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the history of the Cistercian monks and stroll through the French gardens.
Option 2: Stroll through the picturesque landscapes of the Morvan Regional Natural Park. Visit the Basilica of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Vézelay.

After this busy day, we will drive you back to your hotel or to the train station around 5:30 pm.

Dinner and overnight stay in Burgundy. Our suggestions for restaurants and accommodations.
