Terms & Conditions
Small group transportation 3 days or more before services: no charge / 2 days before services: 50 % / 1 day before service, the day of services or no show: 100% of the total amount due. In case of late arrival by the client, Authentica will wait 10 minutes after the departure mentioned with the other participants. After 10 minutes, the booking is considered as a no show.
Private transportation (maximum 8 passengers per vehicle) 7 days or more before services: 50€ cancellation fees / 6 to 3 days before services: 50% of the total amount / Less than 3 days before services, the day of service or no show: 100% of the total amount.
Private transportation (9 or more passengers per vehicle) or other services More than 30 days before services: 150€ cancellation fee / 30 to 7 days before services: 50% of the total amount / Less than 7 days before services, the day of service or no show: 100% of the total amount.
Cooking class: 7 days or more before services: 50€ cancellation fees / Less than 7 days before services, the day of service or no show: 100% of the total amount.
All services Please ensure you have the taken out cancellation insurance for your holiday and/or trips. For any cancellation carried out by our company: total and immediate refund with no extra compensation.
If the situation prevents your trip, you can postpone your date or simply cancel without fee by giving us 3 days notice*. And in case of travel restrictions decided by the French authorities or those of your country, no notice delay is applicable.
*Bookings not requiring the rental of a bus (8 people maximum) for your group or the booking of a cooking-class.
Terms of payment
Private sales : Payment on board on the day of services -unless otherwise noted-, on invoice. Bank card (visa or mastercard), French bank cheques or cash -euros- are accepted in all of our vehicles.
Professional sales : Payment on receipt of invoice and at the latest, 15 days before the tour, unless other payment terms are agreed by our company.
All sales : Authentica reserves the right to request a down payment or advanced payment in total, stated on the invoice.
No early payment discount. In accordance with the provisions of article L.441-6 of French law “Code du commerce” modified by the law of 22nd March 2012, in the event of late payment, you shall be indebted and liable to late payment penalties representing three times the legal interest rate and a fixed payment rate of 40 euros for recovery costs.
Our prices include small group or private transportation, tolls, parking fees, passenger and luggage insurance, driver/guide’s meals and other possible services: wine tastings & entrance fees -unless otherwised noted-.
Our prices do not include clients meals -unless otherwise noted-, expenses during free time and personal expenses.
Prices are calculated based on the transportation distance, the type of transportation or vehicle used -number of seats-, the volume required for luggage, the appointed transporter and anciliary services. Any request to modify the contract is possible for private services only and requires our company’s agreement. Additional fees can be applied: extra kilometer, additional person or rate per hour.
Service & obligations
Smoking, eating or consuming alcohol in the vehicles is strictly prohibited. Seat belts must be fastened at all times. Our drivers’ responsibility is engaged during service. They are required to apply and enforce all current laws and specific clauses for passenger transportation (speed limit, seat belts, baby and child car seats…). Our company reserves the right to interrupt the service in progress or to prevent access to the vehicle should the client not adhere to the security rules or should the client be aggressive-impolite towards other passengers and/or the driver. Luggage must be compatible with the vehicle’s weight and dimension characteristics. Any damage caused by the client to the vehicle will be charged in full based on the cost of repairs. It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that no objects are left in our vehicles. Our company takes no responsibility for damage, loss or theft of objects that may be left in our vehicles.
Transportation contract fulfilment
Our company cannot be held responsible for any transport delay, itinerary change or cancellation due to any circumstance beyond our control (accident, immobilisation of the vehicle due to a mechanical or driver problem, traffic congestion, road closure, police requests, train, flight or boat delay…) or in case of force majeure (strike, extreme weather conditions,…). This list of events is non-exhaustive. In case of an event which prevents the agreed transportation contract from being partially or fully carried out, the services must unfortunatley be suspended. The clients will be driven directly to the arrival point if another vehicle-driver is not available. Authentica will proceed to the partial or total refund to the client with no extra compensation, according to the point at which the service was interupted by the incident. Our company can subcontract another company (vehicles + 9 seats, transfers,…) but maintains entire responsibility for the correct running of the services and for the obligations arising under the contract..
Our responsibility is defined by the professional insurance contract clauses and French legislation for passenger transportation. This obligatory insurance covers passengers and luggage transported subject to conditions. More information is available from our company on request. Scope of application and litigation
The present conditions are applicable to the transportation contract concluded by the company Authentica Tours and the instructing participant benefiting from the transportation or intermediary in charge of organizing the transportation for the beneficiary. Any claims must be presented within 30 days of the service provided by registered letter with recorded delivery. Any claim not so presented will not be treated. In case of litigation, the Dijon Commercial court will have sole jurisdiction.
Newsletter – Emailing.
By accepting Terms and conditions I agree to receive email from us. The aim of our newsletter/e-mail service is to keep our customers and visitors updated about new service offerings. The subscription to our newsletter service is not mandatory.
The frequency of the newsletter issues will be at most monthly, unless serious security concerns about one of our software programmes will force us to do otherwise.
We reserve the sole right to unsubscribe users / visitors from or newsletter service, without notice . We will do so with any subscriber we deem registered with fake data.
We will not communicate / spread / publish or otherwise give away your address. You’ll be able to change your subscription settings or to delete it alltogether anytime.
